Bobbejaanland collaborates with Themebuilders for Land of Legends attraction
Bobbejaanland opened Land of Legends, its new themed area, to the public on June 22 this year. Some of the attractions include the newly built Gerstlauer infinity coaster, the existing Typhoon coaster and the Sledgehammer giant frisbee. The concept design was created by Leisure Expert Group from Amsterdam and scenic production was provided by Themebuilders Philippines Inc.
Bobbejaanland used the designs and requested Themebuilders to manufacture a large amount of themed decorations and iconic characters for Land of Legends in their artistic workshop in the Philippines.
“We are very pleased with the opportunity to collaborate with Bobbejaanland and to develop the detailed designs based on the scenic designs by Leisure Expert Group”, says Joanne Ocampo, General Manager of Themebuilders.
High-quality and detailed fibre glass sculptures were produced such as the four entrance portals, as well as some iconic characters like the water monster, the water warriors, the Guardian of the Elements, the Sky Rider, the Witch Cabin. Themebuilders also themed and created the facade of the new ride station.
